Description
The Lion is a high-performance single board computer (SBC) which combines Intel's Core “Kaby Lake” processor, with a PCIe/104 OneBank expansion interface. Compatible with the PCI/104-Express format, it includes a legacy PCI connector, and a high-speed PCIe connector. This provides flexible system expansion, while leaving more on-board space available for product features. The single bank connector is mechanically and electrically compatible with PCI/104-Express Type 1 and Type 2 modules. In addition, the Lion also contains a full complement of on-board I/O interfaces, including USB 3.0, USB 2.0, mini PCIe expansion socket, TPM chip, multiple serial interfaces, and 8-bits of digital I/O.
The Lion is available with an embedded i7-7600U, i5-7300U, or i3-7100U Kaby Lake processor, providing standard clock rates up to 2.8 GHz and Turbo Boost rates to 3.9 GHz. The Kaby Lake processors feature dual-core CPUs and Hyper-Threading logic allowing up to 4 simultaneous threads to be executed.
